The Seven Stills is a small, family-run Pub, Lounge and Bistro situated in the heart of the small Speyside town of Dufftown which is widely known as ‘The Malt Whisky Capital of the World’ Owners Patrick and Rose moved, with their family, from Burgundy in France, to Scotland just three years ago to take over this Historic pub, in that short time and with a clear vision they have completely transformed it….the Seven Stills was born! The lounge and bar, with its’ wood burning stoves and relaxed atmosphere provide the perfect place to enjoy the wide range of Scottish based drinks, taken alone or alongside perfectly matched food. Not surprisingly the Seven Stills has gained a reputation for providing the visitor with more than a drink and a meal, rather it is an evening experience!
Single Malt Whiskies
The drinks menu includes over 300 Single Malt whiskies, 40 Scottish craft gins, a selection of Scottish vodkas, craft beers and ciders (many of which are local) as well as Scotland’s first rum. The menu also includes a range of wines, tonics, soft drinks and hand crafted lemonades.
Chef Patrick demonstrates his passion for food by creating a Scottish menu of soups, platters, main meals of the day and desserts
adding a hint of his Gallic origins for that extra touch of magic! Everything is freshly prepared using the finest Scottish and, as often as possible, locally sourced produce and ingredients.
Whisky flights, Balvenie and cheese pairing, Whisky and Chocolate pairing, check the bar for the featured cocktail of the week! And NEW for 2019, choose from our selection of whisky miniatures in the miniature Gallery, probably, the smallest snug in Scotland! Look at our ‘Experiences’ and ‘Whisky Festival’ pages for details of all events at the Seven Stills.
Patrick and Rose aim to provide genuine hospitality, welcoming local residents and visitors who wish to sample traditional Scottish hospitality combined with a French twist! They will go out of their way to give you a memorable evening and suggest that, if you wish to eat, it is best to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
