Auld Alliance Dinner & Scottish Fiddle
Summary: A Scottish & French themed 4-course dinner accompanied by local Scottish musicians.
This year the Seven Stills is celebrating the Auld Alliance highlighting a Scottish-French theme throughout the evening. Chef Patrick Bernoud is passionate about the food he prepares, using only the finest ingredients, many of which are of local and Scottish origins. For this menu he has chosen to cook recipes that are very close to his heart with the hope that they will warm your cockles, too!
Your dinner will consist of:
Arrival drink – a classic French cocktail (made and mixed by a true Parisian!)
French onion soup – paired with a red Scottish ale
Chef Patrick will be serving his very special French onion soup, the fruity flavour of the ale will exaggerate the caramelized onions & leave you eager for another serving…and perhaps another beer!
Boeuf Bourguignon, gratin Dauphinois & vegetables – paired with a glass of French wine or a peaty Scotch
As Patrick is from the Burgundy region of France, the Boeuf Bourguignon is one of his favorite recipes – which is handed down by his grandmother (of course!)
Roquefort cheese – paired with Lagavulin 16
Patrick has chosen the famous Roquefort cheese and paired it with the equally famous Islay Lagavulin.
Pears in quince jelly with ricotta mousse & crumbly ginger biscuit – you can choose to pair your dessert from one of two local Speyside whiskies – paired with Dufftown Singleton 12 or a Glen Elgin 12
To finish you will be served a delicious creamy dessert . Choose to pair it from one of two Speyside fresh and fruity malts….. et voilà ! Bon appétit!
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by local musicians, Reelers Rant, from Aberlour. This duo playing fiddle and guitar were a huge hit last year and they are guaranteed to get your toes tapping!
This promises to be a great night of fine food, drink and music……not to be missed!

Summary: Miniture’s Snug
Book yourself into the smallest snug in Scotland (probably) where you can choose from our menu of
miniature drams, gins or a flight of special whiskies and miniature nibbles. Once you have found your
way in, just relax and enjoy a quiet 45 minutes savouring your drink while fully taking in the intimate
surroundings. Bookable on the hour and suitable for small groups (max 6). Details at the bar.

Auld Alliance Cocktails, Platter & Fiddle
Summary: Scottish & French cocktails, served with a food platter and accompanied by Speyside musicians.
Come along to a relaxed evening in the Seven Stills where you will enjoy two French and two Scottish cocktails made by a lovely Parisian lady.
While you sample with your drinks you will be presented with a delicious platter of Scottish tapas including artisan cheese, charcuterie and fish.
Entertainment during the evening will be provided local musicians Reelers Rant featuring music on fiddle and guitar.
